1)
Complain to the Office of State Attorney General of Texas, Financial
Litigation & Charitable Trust Division regarding THLN intentionally
withholding from prospective adopters their ENTIRE record on the subject
of gassing pets!
https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/divisions/financial-litigation/charitable-trusts/charitable-trusts-complaints
2)
Complain to the Internal Revenue Service with Form 13909, Tax Exempt
Organization Complaint under #3 “Nature of Violation” where it reads
“Organization engaged in deceptive or improper fundraising practices,”
remit form to ---
IRS EO Classification, Mail Code 4910DAL, 1100 Commerce Street, Dallas, Texas 75242-1198
3)
Make inquiry to United States Postal Inspection Service regarding THLN
use of U.S. Mail to received checks mailed to their offices in Austin
and/or Dallas; note the same complaint as in #1, misleading donors as to
their full legislative lobbying record on the subject of gassing
pets! https://uspis.gov/contactUs/filecomplaint.aspx
Use of United States Mail to trick people out of money is a very
serious matter! We have our conclusions on this, but only the
regulators can make absolute determination.
4) Contact the Texas Ethics Commission at P.O. Box 12070, Austin Texas 78711-2070 URL www.ethics.state.tx.us with these same complaints about the Texas “Humane” Legislation Network.
5)
Contact your area media; radio, television and newspapers about THLN’s
lack of disclosure that they successfully lobbied in 2011 to continue
carbon monoxide gassing of Texas shelter pets in 2011; and since 2013,
THLN seizes credit for ending gassing!
6) It may be a joke until a shake-up takes place at the Better Business Bureau of Central Texas in Austin but try anyway https://www.bbb.org/consumer-complaints/file-a-complaint/get-started
The reason being, very disappointingly, in the file they have on Texas
“Humane” Legislation Network, #15 “Truthful Materials,” as of late March
2019 they still refuse to post correction to read “Materials Not
Truthful,” and very likely here’s the reason why---BIAS is involved with
this PLANT Rick Bousquet a THLN figure INSINUATED into this Better (??)
Business Bureau---
March 13, 2018---
2015 news item shows Bousquet’s strong linkage to Texas Humane Legislation Network---
Link below shows BOSQUET connected to BBB in Austin and Fort Worth also!
BIAS is at work in this situation favoring THLN!
Texas Humane Legislation Network appears to function as a
Texas subsidiary of Humane Society of the United States!
If Humane Society of U.S. paid BBB, has THLN done so too?
Is the Better Business Bureau a protection racket?
On March 13, 2019, I mailed complaint on THLN to
BBB Austin, with documentation, that THLN’s materials
fail the BBB’s criteria #15, “Truthful Materials;” BBB
has refused to accept/sign for my mailpiece; I had
already emailed them. The Postal Service will
eventually return my envelope I sent to the BBB
with the notation the recipient refused it!
The DUMB/CORRUPTED BBB would have
done better to have signed for it!
