THLN? What's their game plan?

This THLN group has been around for 40 years they tell readers.  Obviously its annual “donations” have increased, especially in the past five years.  They do appear to be an informal extension of the HSUS, Humane Society of the United States.  I don’t claim to have figured out all their game plan.  However, clearly if they intend to continue operating as an organization (unless regulators crack down on them as I earnestly hope they will), they will have to drum up animal related issues to parade before the gullible among the Texas public of some 29 million souls, so they can have excuses for fund raising appeals.  An inordinate amount of aggrandized ego is clearly in play among the THLN officials, and their state regional chapter leaders are little more than zombie brain functionaries for them.  The THLN at the very least needs to wind up its affairs as an organization and permanently shut down based on two things 1) their actions to defeat the 2011 Texas Companion Animal Protection Act, after which everything they do is irreversibly tainted by the agonizing deaths of 30,000 to 40,000 shelter pets who were gassed and 2) the fact that in fundraising they haven’t been forthright/straightforward with donors as to their whole record on gassing and let’s add a #3), THLN evidences that unless they pre-agree to a pet related bill, they will do all they can to have it shot down in the State legislature.

This is another proof showing strong linkage of HSUS and THLN---

They strongly appear to not want many items on their agenda per Texas legislative session, as then, they would put themselves out of business sooner insofar as having excuse to drum up donations goes!
